Warm Fluorescents Make Home Glow

With advances in lighting technology, new “warm” fluorescents can generate the same glow as incandescents, but with greater efficiency.

The key to achieving both warmth and efficiency in the photo below was choosing the best lighting application for each light source, according to The Lighting Research Center. Warm fluorescents were used for interior lighting, and low-wattage incandescents were used for the exterior fixtures to reduce glare.
