Lighting Design Inside Met Back Bay Restaurant
You may have read on Facebook that the new Met Back Bay restaurant we worked on is now open. Lux Lighting Design worked with architecture firm Morehouse MacDonald & Associates, Inc., to design the lighting inside the highly anticipated Met Back Bay located at the corner of Newbury and Dartmouth in Boston. Serving modern American cuisine, Met Back Bay is the newest venture of the MET Restaurant Group, owners of The Metropolitan Club in Chestnut Hill, Mass., and The Met Bar & Grill in Natick, Mass. and Dedham, Mass. With four different rooms, including a heated outdoor terrace, Met Back Bay offers a variety of atmospheres under one roof.
Check out the lighting design inside Met Back Bay created by Lux Lighting Design:
The windows at the front of the restaurant provide generous views of Newbury Street and bathe the “Living Room” in gorgeous natural light, while contemporary Venetian glass chandeliers and sconces light from within for a look that’s purely sophisticated.
The bar and game room is lit by pendants and integrated ceiling lights that cast a feel-good glow.
Integrated ceiling and bar lighting as well as wall sconces create a cozy club vibe inside “The Library.”
