Light From Two Sides
Did you know that light coming in from two sides of a room is an architectural principle? This concept is discussed in great detail in the book “A Pattern Language” by Christopher Alexander, according to Things That Inspire. The book explains that building plans include a basis on natural elements, one of which is day lighting. Alexander relates that most people feel more comfortable in rooms with windows on at least two different walls.
