First Impressions Last
We make first impressions within the first 5 seconds of entering or observing a space or building. It is important to have all details clearly identified and this can be done with appropriate lighting. For instance, when we enter a space and the parameters of that space are not quickly evident (a dark corner or area that is “fuzzy” or unclear), it can cause a sense of anxiety, at various levels. It is a genealogical trait to know our surroundings.
